A Shared Tableongoing
The Shared Table is an ongoing research through a series of curated dining experiences that explore how displacement, memory, and personal history shape the way we communicate. The dinners bring together people who have experienced displacement, either directly or through their parents or older generations, to find moments of unity in the stories we share.
At its centre is an installation of hand-blown glass flowers - a landscape that distorts the view between guests. This barrier becomes a metaphor for emotional distance, interrupted belonging, and the unseen layers of collective memory we carry into shared spaces.
